Volunteer
Volunteering with animals is a rewarding experience. Our animals
enjoy the extra attention and exercise from our volunteers.
Our volunteers provide extra love and support to the animal. There
are various opportunities in the shelter, and at our partnering
adoption sites, for volunteers to help.
Volunteers must be a least 18 years old and pass a background.
All Volunteers must attend an initial orientation and a brief
shadowing period. Volunteer meetings are held the
first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.
If interested please view the Volunteer
Information Form and the Volunteer
Application form. Once you complete the application, you can
mail it to 4517 N. Main Street, Rockford IL or drop it off to
us.
